They are expected to push on heavily here and make a massive stride towards the knockout stage of the competition. Bookmakers were quick to cut the odds on Germany in the outright market after their impressive performance. Ghana are scrapping for survival after losing against the USA in their opening fixture.

Group F resumes with a lopsided looking battle. This should be another three points in the bag for the Albiceleste, which will see them go marching on towards the knockout stage. Iran earned themselves a point against Nigeria in their opening match. It’s unlikely that they will get any change out of Argentina, as they go into this one as outrageously heavy underdogs.
This is the first World Cup meeting between the two sides, but they have played once before when they met in a friendly back in 1977. That game ended in a 1-1 draw. Argentina opened their World Cup account with a 2-1 win over Bosnia and they had to labour a bit, but a special goal from Lionel Messi saw them through. It was just little passes not coming off for Argentina, which suggested that if they click, they are going to be a major force.
